Corona vaccination for children aged 5-11 years

Since November 25, 2021, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has approved the vaccination of children between the ages of 5 and 11 with the Covid-19 vaccine from BioNTech/Pfizer. The STIKO has not yet issued a recommendation for the vaccination of children under the age of 12. No vaccine in the correct dosage is currently available. We are therefore currently continuing to vaccinate only children and adolescents aged 12 and over in our practice.
